We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no system is 100% secure.
We retain personal data as long as necessary to provide services, comply with law, and enforce agreements.
NoteWander is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 16. If we become aware that a user is under 16, their account will be removed.
By default, NoteWander accounts are public: posts, photos, reels, events, groups, and guide listings you share are visible to other signed-in users, including in Explore, search, hashtag results, and home feeds.
If you enable Private Account (Settings > Preferences), your profile and stories become visible only to your accepted connections, and your posts, reels, and groups are removed from Explore, search, and other public feeds — including content you post after enabling it. Your connections continue to see your content on your profile and in their home feed.
Private Account controls where your content appears inside NoteWander. While we complete the rollout of database-level enforcement, an individual post may still be reachable by a direct link. Once that rollout completes, direct access to a private account's posts and reels will also be limited to connections, and this policy will be updated to reflect it.
Locations you deliberately tag on a post or reel (for example, a restaurant or viewpoint) are part of that post and are shown at the precision you pinned, to the same audience that can see the post. Your profile's home location is always stored at reduced precision (approximately 1 km). Hiding your map pins (Settings > Preferences > Memories) controls where pins are displayed and is not an access control.
If you block another user, they can no longer view your profile, and your profile appears to them as unavailable.
Content removed by moderators is withheld from feeds immediately and permanently deleted, together with its comments and media files, after a 30-day review window.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of NoteWander constitutes acceptance of updates.
